KB856951 | How to Log into Illuminate as a Substitute Teacher

This lesson will guide you through accessing another teacher's account as a substitute. This feature allows substitute teachers to login, take attendance, grade assignments, print seating charts, make student comments, view student information, etc. without having to be granted students via a student group or class roster.

Where to Start

Substitute teachers initially login with their own credentials, then:

1. Click the Control Panel icon.

2. Under Edit Account, click Substitute Teacher.

Select Teacher Name

3. Select the Teacher one is subbing for (This will log the you in as that teacher).

Re-login to Original Role

1. Click the Control Panel icon.

2. Under Edit Account, click "Re-Login as [name]".
