KB856205 | HOW TO: Use Sound System

Plugging in & Sound

1.       The projector is ready to go at any time

a.       Inside the pit in the auditorium will be the HDMI cable

b.       Once connected to the HDMI the projector will detect the computer

c.       The screen will come down and start projecting

d.       The sound will come out of the HDMI

                                                               i.      To control the Volume Select AUX Volume to control the sound

2.       The sound is controlled on the iPad

a.       The iPad is the control center for the sound control

b.       The user will be able to control the volume of music and videos

c.       The volume will always be pre-set, so it will never have to change.

                                                               i.      Its recommended that the volume is controlled off the laptop keeping balance with the volume.

                                                             ii.      Disclosure* There is a mode selected on the iPad please Lecture and Production for easy use keep mode on Lecture mode. 

Mic

1.       There are 2 mics at will always be on the stage:

a.       Location of Mics: 1 Podium, 1 on the stage

                                                               i.      The center mic will be kept on the side of the stage

b.       Controlling the volume of the Mic can be done on the iPad 

                                                               i.      Mic 7 Podium: controls the podium mic

                                                             ii.      Mic 4 Center: controls the center mic

Equipment Rack & Panel

1.       On the side of the stage there is a tall black box.

a.       There are 3 panels

b.       One switch with up and down functions

                                                               i.      This controls the projector screen

c.       The White Screen controls all the functions of the projector, sound and all inputs.

d.       The black box does the same thing as the white screen just with an analog button

e.        The red button on the tall box turns on the machine. It takes about 4 minutes for everything to start up

                                                               i.      Most of the time the system will be on.
