HOW TO: Setup MFA

This knowledge-based article will show you how to configure MFA(Multi-Factor Authentication) on your Catalyst Schools Account. You should have your phone ready and available and sitting at a PC when going through these instructions.

  1. First, go to https://aka.ms/mfasetup and sign in with your email and password.
  2. Once logged in, search under “How should we contact you?” and select “Authentication phone”.
  3. Select the country being the “United States” and enter your phone number.
  4. Select the method of authentication being “Send me a code by text message”.
  5. Select Next, and enter the code sent to your phone by text.
  6. Finish by pressing “Verify”
  7. You may now close the window.
